This is the area in front of the sink when we moved in
That sink unit was rotting away with damp, wasn't that big either!
So as you know we hauled it all out, and started over...notice the ugly boiler on the right? No plumber would even turn it on to test it because it was so old and dangerous...and it was taking up valuable kitchen space!
The new and improved sink area, gone is the ugly linoleum floor, and in are new ceramic tiles, laid by the Penster...great job Peach! Sink has more room, storage...and is clean!
Once my brother and I stripped out all the crap that was in the kitchen.....
We had a clean slate to work with...
This is the same area as the photo above...Liam and company our contractor put the kitchen units in, and Pen and I splurged on an ice making, water pouring american style fridge freezer....ice chilled Magners cider anyone?
Pen and I got to work putting up kitchen tiles....
But they still need to be grouted in between....erm, we'll get to it...eventually.
Those tiles don't fit themselves around electrical sockets and cupboards....enter the wonder of the angle grinder!! H&S manager in action...sandals?
